A Liberal agenda is a Liberal agenda and nothing deters them from trying to achieve it. Last month I reported that they had slipped in another $138 million over and above the budgeted $119 million for 2004 for gun control. Well, they have just allocated another $97 million minimum in the 2005-06 budget. Don’t forget that their election promise was to cap spending at $25 million per annum. At the same time, the RCMP had to close down its forensic lab in Edmonton, in the name of efficiency. So, let me see … gun control with no proven benefit takes precedent over DNA lab work and the backlogs in that department. Completely logical, apparently, to the Liberal caucus.

When you consider that a group of scientists in the USA have just completed a definitive study that could find no science that suggested any of the government gun control initiatives had any significant effect on reducing crime or violence, you can come to only one conclusion; that is that gun control is a personal issue for the upper Liberal echelon.

We have now learned that our own Auditor General has started a cost benefit analysis of gun control in Canada. I look forward to her report, which should be available in approximately one year.

Speaking of efficiency, the Canadian Firearms Center has lost track of 46,509 firearms’ owners already! That is only since 1998, so imagine what it would look like in another ten years. By the way, these folks are all deemed to be criminals now.

Our sources from the United Nations suggest that Liberals were planning on initiating legislation this year to prohibit semi-automatics. It appears they have backed off on this for the time being. No doubt because another election is imminent and times are rocky enough for the Liberals now with the Adscam issue and all their other lies and government waste issues. Let’s make sure that these scoundrels are not re-elected!

Until then…
Never Forgive - Never Forget
