Shoot Saskatchewan

Are you interested in shooting in Saskatchewan?  You've heard rumors of good things but you don't quite know the local area.
This website is here to give you a helping hand.

First off, You may just want to drop into the Saskatchewan Outfitters Association website for a look.  Remember, successful hunts are their business.  If you are looking at hunting in Saskatchewan, you will want to look at the hunting synopsis (guide and regulations) that is put out by the good people of SERM - Saskatchewan Environment and Resource Management.

If that isn't what you are looking for, and you want to do some of your own homework and travel arrangements, you will need to look around the internet.  First off, you need to look at our Provincial Map.  Once you've decided where you want to go, you may want to pull up a Mapquest Map to get a better look at access to the site.  If you have a community name, but can't locate it, here is a site that contains the Directory of Saskatchewan City & Town Maps.

Sometimes, it helps to know the local lay of the land (so to speak).  You could look for accommodations or restaurants using the  MySask Website, or you may want to contact the Rural Municipality Office to see if they know of something specific you are looking for. If you don't know which RM you will be in, no problem.  Here is how you find out:

Go to the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities website and find their Division Map. Using this map, you can locate the RM within the Division.  From there, you can go to the Provincial Municipal Directory to locate a person to talk to, or an e-mail address to send your enquiry.

When contacting the Rural Municipal Office, please be courteous and knowledgeable about what you are looking for.  The people trying to answer your questions are jacks of all trades and as a result, have many things on the go and lots to do.

There you have it, almost.  Let's not forget the weather in Saskatchewan.

Looking for other hunting and fishing locations?  Check out Saskatchewan Tournet.

I hope you enjoy yourself on your Saskatchewan Get Away.
